Hey, gang. I know there's a lot of sharp folks in here, and I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of some of the technobabble that is periodically spewed forth in an effort to help some poor, misguided soul figure out how to arm a MIDI track. So I'm going to spare you all of that, and pass along what I feel is a tidbit of real, useful info. Here goes: has anyone else figured out that you can use the Sonar splash screen as your desktop background? This is way too cool !! I know, I know, it's not going to help you understand the finer points of mastering digital audio, but it sure makes your puter look good! No need to shower me with accolades, just wanna help my fellow audio fanatics! C-ya.

Did you know...

....that works the other way, too? You can substitute the Sonar background in track view with another image? I bet you did!:D

ever have those days (or nights) when the creativity just ain't happenin'? can't quite come up with that bridge section, or you find yourself in the pits of polyphony hell? yet, the wife and kids are sleeping, or not home, so you just HAVE to sit in front of that 'puter! that's when you figure out crap like this!!!! maybe i can figure a way to have little jpg icons of guitars and pianos on my tracks instead of names. hmmmm......i'll keep you posted!
