Hello all, when I open Reagate and select the detector "circuit" my only choices that appear are the mix L and R and the aux (hell I can't remember the other). from the video tutorial I have seen on the web it looks like you have many more choices. Say for example a specific track output or a specific send. I know I' am overlooking something. Good example would be to have the Gate/detector on track ten and the source on track two. How do I do that so that? I am familiar with the operations of a gate but apparantly not the routing in Reaper. Thanks.

You need to set the track to have the number of "track channels" you want

Right click the fader for the track ReaGate is on and note this pic

You'll see a drop down for the number of track channels

Once you have more than two, you can send other tracks to say, the 3/4 ins

If you set the aux to 3/4 you can then trigger reagate from other tracks by using the I/O window
