Hey, folks. I just finally downloaded a recording program that works for my needs. So now I was finally able to record the basic tune for several of the songs that I've written previously. Mind you, they're all acapella since I don't play an instrument, and I haven't written out the music so there may be some variety in the notes from verse to verse. Also, I'm not a trained singer, either but I do the best I can at the time.

Now that I have several of these MP3 files, were can I go to "publish" them for easy sharing? I'd be interested in critiques of the music as it stands...not sure if I've inadvertantly copied something I've heard from somewhere else, or used the same one for different tunes. :)

Glad to see you back in the business.

If you're just looking for a place to dump them quickly to get some critiques http://www.lightningmp3.com is really fast and easy. They will keep it there so long as someone accesses it in 90 days. After that, it's automatically deleted.

alrighty then, I've got my first 8 songs uploaded to lightningmp3. To take it easy on you folks I'll post only one or two at a time so as not to overload the system with amateurish singing, or to song-spam. :)

Go to JamStudio.com's website - then you will be able to create real backing tracks for your vocals.
