Tried it but............

......not my favorite for acoustic.
Its not horrible or anything but its too, i dont know...dark sounding....too boomy.

I like an sm57 or 58 a lot better as far as a dynamic goes.

I usually use a condenser now, though.

Try it ....you might like it though.

keep it away from the sound hole and you will like it
might need to eq some highs in and some low mids out
sennheiser 421 sounds cleaner
rode ntk or at 3035 or baby bottle sound more brilliant
they all work
