Re-solder S/PDIF

When I pulled out a digital coax cable connected to my 1010lt, it ripped off the connector from the sound card's breakout cable.

Is it perfectly acceptable to just re-solder the RCA connector? Or does the fact that it's a digital cable require something different?

yes, just resolder it and you'll be fine.
