Hi , to all Im new to the forum , I would really apreciate if someone would help me.
Around 6 months ago we went to this studio to record our demo , the studio only had an audio interface , some good mics , a drum kit,. but it was far from a profesional studio ..
The "studio" was really a like a bedroom it wasnt isolated or anything like that ,, It had normal windows, a door , a bed , etcc ..
Anyway the guitars , bass and drums sounded really good but the vocals I just didnt liked them a lot. And we were on a budget and I almost recorded all vocals on first takes. Also I didnt knew the songs really well by that time...
Well after that we were "happy" because we had finally recorded and all that , but after playing the songs live and rehearsing a lot , I kept noticing that the vocals sounded better thru my voice tone create and correct pedals than on the album.
Well any way I have the mix in a cubase proyect, and I would really like to re-record the vocals on all songs with my effect pedals in my house without having to pay again for the studio time and all the inconviniences that arise from going to the "studio"..
The guy at the studio recomended this
http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.com/product/M-Audio-Fast-Track-MKII-USB-Audio-Interface?sku=703669
And told me that If I gave them the new vocal tracks he would only charge me for polishing them if they needed to and to remix the tracks.
Doing some research I found this forum , and I also found two products impact twin, and PreSonus FireStudio Mobile.
Do you think one of these could do help me ??
And do you think It is posible to record the vocals with voice tone create and correct pedals?
As I understand they also have a preamp, .. so I dont know if its possible to chain two preamps and sound good..
Sorry for the long thread!
