Just out of the oven-a hard rockin tune with lots of distortion. Kind of a cross between Rush and Stone Temple Pilots i'm thinkin. No vocals until someone beats down the door insisting on doing some. Recorded using a RME fireface 800 into pro tools 9, drums were tapped out on an akai pad. Let me know what you think of the mix-it came out of pro tools very loud-I hardly had to limit at all. Guitars may be too prominent but had to make up for lack of vocals.

Calling this "Pilots of Syrinx" for the moment.

The kick need to get louder. Snare need a little bit more body. And rrums need to come forward in the mix.
Nice guitar work n tones.

Guitars are cool... but the drums are too weak sounding for this type of song... It has to be punchier and and louder..
Its probably just me, but some of the snares sound slightly off..
I like this style.. grungy! :D

cheers

Tight axe playing - I would call this progressive rock as it is somewhat more intricate in its drum/guitar sycopations than your standard fare. Mix sounded okay to me. I was glad you pulled out the lead break later on as I bore easily...lol.... Vocals would be a plus! Good job overall.! :D

Yep, need to get the rock in the drum roll but otherwise this is going to a good place.
