Nice snare.
The red rings near each end on the inside, are they reinforcing rings?
Is the shell fairly thin as far as plys go?

I like thinner plied shells because I am not a hard "beater"
 
The red strips are felt. The birch liner is maybe 1/8 inch thick and the brass shell is thin as well.

I want it, although I have too many as it is.
I'll see how hard the urge hits.
 
For being 9 inches deep, it is pretty sensitive. It's impressive, women love it.
