Hey everyone, random (pun not intended, but left there) question...
Is there a sampler program that will allow you to randomize the mapping of samples to a midi controller? I have a large (i.e. more than 88) group of samples that I'm having trouble sifting through, but I want to use some of them as a sort of percussion kit. I figure that if I randomize the mapping I'll eventually stumble across a useable configuration, but I don't know of any program that has that as a function.
I use shortcircuit (1.1) currently (inside Reaper), and while I like its functionality in general, I'd like this feature. Any ideas, either program-wise or technique-wise?
