It's Too Funky in Here!!!
In tribute to variaxman's latest effort,... someone suggested doing a Ramones Rumble!

This is the thread where e'one's invited to post an mp3 of their best Ramones covers! This could be fun!

i'll get started on it this week for sure. i can't decide between we want the airwaves, the crusher, and pet sematary.
 
Thanks for the heads up on this thread, Dave! I will download from soundclick later on and listen. I wish I could post some new stuff, but it's going to be the better part of a year before I can get anything done!

Soundclick seems to be letting people have covers on it's site now...

A lot of people have covers on soundclick. I'm not sure who has licenses, but I just put mine under the "Rock: Covers" category. Don't know if that's okay though. Anybody know?

Can I upload a cover song?
There are strict guidelines that you must follow. You need to obtain a compulsory license from the publisher, and later you must pay the publisher. On SoundClick, cover songs must be in the 'cover songs' subgenre. Please see our solution center on licensing issues for more details.

Is it a cover if I change the words?
 
why don't we change it to "Ramones-style rumble" - write and record a song that's similar to a Ramones song?
