ram!!!!

so im in the process of building a new computer for the studio and i was wondering if anybody had any suggestion on a specific brand or type of ram (or how much it matters) to get. my motherboard supports DDR2 533 up to 4 gigs

The general rule of thumb for computer recording is the best and most your board can support. Of course I'm stuck with a RamBus board so 256mb is around $75... Argh (lol.. don't mind me) :o
 
I've had really good experiences with Rosewill ram. 512mb PC3200 sticks are in the mid 30's at newegg.com
 
I use OCZ brand RAM. IMO, they're one of the very best. I currently use a low latency RAM instead of a high-bandwidth one. I've never asked the opinions of others on this topic, but for recording I'd imagine that the higher bandwidth type would be better. Any input on this?
