I want to go to a Raid0 setup, and know of the risks involved. I am about to purchase a pair of 80gb SATA drives for this. However, I have a pair of 160gb IDE drives that I want to use as backups.
My question is, how should I set this up?

Should I use one of the 160gb drives my audio drive?
Or should I just save everything on the Raid drives, and dump backups to the IDE drives?

What would you do?

Thanks.

I would say use the raid drives for active recording projects, and use the 160's just as archive drives. Like your current project(s) would be on the raid stripe, and then once you are done (or whenever you feel like backing up), you just dump the files over to the 160's.
