Radium 61 and Cubase SX3

I recently aquired the M-Audio unit and am a newb to midi. I have been using .WAV and .AIFF exclusively until now. (I've been solo for awhile now)

I installed the drivers and still cannot get the two to properly communicate. Shouldn't I be able to go to the midi devices menu (or one of those menus...i'm not in front of my computer at the moment) and pick that specific make/model, out of that list, after I've installed it?

I'm able to get sounds from the USB interface within Reason, but shouldn't I be able to do this and more within Cubase? I was even wanting to assign a midi map to control some faders, where can this be cound for download?

I wish I had invested some time to learn Midi while I was recording audio...I wouldn't be such a newb now.

thx in advance for any insight

Make sure the send channel on your instrument is the same as the receive channel on your midi track in Cubase
