new song I'm working on first listenable mix. Thoughts about anything welcome.
mix definitely needs some work. But I want some fresh ears.

It sounds okay to me. Maybe de-ess the vocal, then again maybe not. In mastering give it a few tenths of a dB of headroom to keep the mp3 conversion from causing clipping.

Overall, it's a good mix. But I'm hearing some phase issues in the guitars during the chorus. they are washing around the sides. Could be guitars conflicting with the organ?

Good ear You're definitely hearing phaser on the guitar because there's a phase 90 pedal on it

I am not familiar with this style, but can the vocals come up a bit more. I feel the instruments are dominating the mix and the vocals is getting buried. And the voice sound very good too!

Overall, nice tune and everything seems to blend well!

Thanks anopbal. I think your right vocals could definitely come up a bit. I tend to bury them. always have.

I agree with what others have said that the mix is good, but the vocal is a hair low.
The mix is overall very loud and already sounds mastered, too. Why is that?
