Radio stations?

I was playing direct today (and recording a rough song) on my guitar today, My guitar was plugged direct into my berry mixer (my amp is in the shop and wont be back for a week or 2) So i was recording and When i turned up the faders to a high enough volume to record on my porta I started getting a german radiostation on 1 channel and a talk show on the other! Is there anyway I can get rid of that? espically without spending much money at all Im all but out of money after spending what i had on a new guitar.
