Just curious. I know the differences between the two, one is active, one passive, one has a jensen transformer the other doesn't.
The question I have is what difference does that make? I'm looking to use this as just a Bass DI and I picked up the J48 from guitar center to try it out. For some reason it kept on clipping and gave me a click and pop filled bass track. This was bass plugged into the J48 with the pad on into a CL 7602. No clipping coming out of the 7602 into my 1010, but when the track is played there are peaks that are cut off for some reason. I'm assuming that's because the J48 is clipping..?
Anyway. Opinions?
