Quiet line mixer, please

Hi all.

Forgive me if this request is too basic. I have used the search function, but couldn't find an answer.

I record using Pro Audio 9, soon to be Sonar. I don't have a mixer. I do have a couple of two-channel preamps (Audio Buddy and the new ART TPS) and have managed passable results with them.

But...

I have so far limited myself to audio and have not tried midi. Even though I have a Soundblaster Live in the machine, I ignore it for my Delta 44.

Now, however, I'd like to start learning midi. The problem, of course, is that I have to mix my midi tracks and my audio tracks into a mixer to hear them at the same time (before I record my midi as audio tracks, that is). So...

I'm looking for a cheap, quiet LINE mixer. Something that would allow me to bypass the preamps. Or better yet, something without preamps - I don't need them, nor do I need phantom power.

Any suggestions?

It's hard to beat a Mackie 1202. It does have a few pre's on it but I have found mackie's to be great keyboard mixers.
 
The Mackie 1202 would be almost silent and you can just plug into the 1/4 inch line jacks if you don't want the pre's.
 
Stay away from Behringer-- the small mixer that I bought is SO FREAKING LOUD. I can't say about their larger/more $$$ ones, but the small ones= suckiness.

Check out midiman's mixim10. Thats not the multimixer10, its the one with pres, EQ and sends and returns. Its very quiet. The pres are what youd expect on a little mixer and the EQ is worthless but the thing is quiet. About 6dB quieter than my soundcraft M8. Musician's Friend was selling them for $100 a little while ago.
