Quick Question

Say i had a stock soundcard and a mixer with 4 mono channels.
If i hooked up a mic to every mono channel on the mixer and recorded it onto one track on Cool Edit Pro 2.0 would all of the mono channels come up on Cool Edit as one track or would like only half of them comne up

unless you're putting 4 seperated tracks in, you're not going to be able seperate them later. if you mix in your mixer and send the output into cool edit, you'll get a single, mixed stereo or mono (depending on what you've chosen in cool edit) track.
