I'M BLESSED.......
I don't even know what to call it but............
On the monitors, the little tweeter covering (The round thing) if they get accidentally pushed in, how do you get them out? They both are pushed in on my M-Audio BX5's............

You can try to gently coax them out using a vacuum hose (go at it slowly and don't actually touch the dome with the vacuum, you dont wanna rip the whole thing out!) but once they're pushed in, they've been damaged and will most likely not sound as good as replacing them.

One of mines on my BX5 is like dat. I let it be doesnt hurt it all sounds da same way since when i bought em brand new.

that wont effect the sound at all..just keep makin great music..

unless you tryin to sell them..

Dr Biscuits was scaring me..............
Thanks RATICUS, I can't believe I didn't even think of that!

actually the vaccum is the best way to do it if you want to..

What's the best way to fix a pushed-in tweeter cone?

A better way of restoring the shape of the dome is to use a vacuum cleaner, because it is a non-contact approach. This is what we did to provide a temporary fix for a damaged tweeter in a Studio SOS visit in the October 2002 . By carefully reducing the air pressure in front of the tweeter using the hose from the vacuum, the pressure of air behind the tweeter forces its shape back out in a fairly gentle way. Obviously, it involves a strong and steady hand to avoid the vacuum cleaner nozzle coming into contact with the tweeter in any way, but, provided that you are careful, this technique can be effective.
