Quick EQ Question

Whats a great all around EQ. Ive been looking at the dual 31 bands 1/3 octave like samsom's and DOD's. Ive also looked at the Alesis MEQ but its been my experience that Alesis' little extra cheap miracle rack effects aint that great. So whats a good one.
