Quick advice on Alesis mixers

ok........i been trying to decide on a budget mixer with effects that would be of some quality for small, garage size gigging. I think most people dont like Behringer..........but i am leaning towards Alesis?? I know yamaha is good, but my local store doesnt have any in stock. Opinions/advice appreciated! thanks

Alesis mixer

I have an alesis studio 24 that I use for small stuff, and it works fine, very versitile, and quiet. I do own 2 larger higher priced mixers but in a live situation you really cant hear a big difference, as long as the alesis you are looking at has everything you need( chanels, ins& out,busses, etc) you will be fine.
