I get these calls, from the dentist, where it is a recording of the secretary saying the usual, "Hello. This is a reminder that ___ has a Dentist appointment_/__ at _:__ (Then I hear this robot-like voice saying the date, and time of when I am supposed to be there) I know this is some sort of program doing this. I would like to know what is the program and where can I buy it. Also, does anyone know of any good voice synthesizers on the market? What's the best? Whats the best VALUE?

You could do these effects yourself with any descent audio editor like Sound Forge for example.
If you want a cheapie external vox effects unit, the Digitech vocal300 is a good one. about $170 at Guitar Center.

Yo Musical Man:

You seem to be a person who likes to tinker with messages.

I like to do the same.

I have one of the "hard to find" full cassette telephone answering machines. So, in my dark studio, I concoct messages for my answering machine for specific callers, like tele-market-painers.

I do the message, plus music, plus my "own" words, on my 2816 and mix it down to cassette tape and, Voila, in it goes into my answering machine.

If this is something that interests you, my model answering machine is: Model KX-T 1451 by Panasonic.

Most answering machines today are digital and you can't fudge around too much and have "nice sound" etc.

I just love to nail those markaschemers with Boris Karloff, or Jose` from Bolivia, etc.

Have phoon,

Green Hornet :D :p :p
