Hey all...
I want to make a pc-recording of my band.
I have a Behringer MX2004A, works great to me.
I use n-track, which responds to all my needs...
Now, my question is:
I'm recording everything 1by1 (drums first, then bass, lead guitar, 2nd guitar, vocals)
Now what I want to know is, when i record my drums (no problem with it) and then I push the Rewind button (<< )
I want to hear my drums on my headphone when I'm recording my guitar. Is this possible? Muting the track doesn't work, I tried everything, and that's the reason why I get this analog sound. It would be nice to get some help

Yes, you can hear the drums in your headphone while playing guitar.

More info is needed on your setup to be specific, but basically all you need is to listen to the line out of your sound card while recording thru the line in of your sound card. there is a bunch of ways to do this depending on your specifics.

What I do is take the left and right outs of the soundcard and connect them to the left and right connections on the mixer channels 15/16. I then hit the mute/aux 3-4 button on that channel and also hit the mute/alt 3-4 button above the alt 3-4 fader right next to the main mix fader. By pressing the alt 3-4 button and the main mix button in the control room part, you'll be able to record something on lets say track one of the mixer (which will be controlled by the main mix faders), and also listen to the playback by using the alt 3-4 fader, the 15/16 fader and the cntl room and phones dial. Non of the playback will go out the main mix faders this way, and only the stuff being recorded on the other inputs of the mixer will be directed out the main outputs of the mixer as long as non of those inputs or tracks on the mixer don't have the mute/aux buttons pressed in.
I think this is what you mean, and I hope it makes sense.
