hey everyone i looked for a thread on this and i just can't find one. So here goes i want to install a patchbay between my live room and control room, Im not sure if it should be flush with the wall, or mabe jut out a bit. any ideas or a photo of the way it should be would be so every greatfull. Thank you thank you..Braxton

mount it on the wall surface to avoid cutting large holes and making maintenance easier. for the cable run, use PVC tube that is cut in 2 parts and rejoined with a rubber pipe joint. this way you can seal both around the pipe to ensure no leaks, it will also be isolated from each side, and you then seal the pipe once you get the cable through it. use right angles on the pipe if possible and have the holes on each side of the walls on different locations.

thank you, thank you. that is way to cool and thats is how i will do it, man this project started out as a practice room I now have the fever!! Im going to use protools and i seen a board its a project m/o 8 channel i belive thats all i need to get started, along with a headphone amp headphones good mics and the list just seems to go on . Im doing it though even though the wife throws things at everyonce in awhile. Thanks again for the fast response. Braxton
