hey, on sonar cakewalk 6, how do you:

1)split midi tracks and duplicate them?

2)how do you mixdown midi tracks?

3) is there a timestretch facility on each audi objects, if so how?

thankyou

ph 1 last question, whats the difference between producer version and studio versions

You bought Sonar 6 without knowing the difference between the producer and studio versions??????

1) THis requires the use of Cakewalk script. I don't remember what it's call offhand, but there exist scripts on the cakewalk website to do this.

2) Look up Freeze

3) yes. It's explained in the manual.

no, ive just downloaded the free demo trial
Cakewalk has a scripting language called CAL. I think it is largely deprecated, but I used to use a CAL file to split out drum tracks to seperate channels. I would hope that they have a better way now.
