Question: Found some Manville 817...

Hey.
Local lumberyard has some 817 available
4x8 sheets, 2 inch thick. 9$ a sheet.
BUT, it has the foil on it... Is this a real problem?

Should be OK. For reflections, just turn the foil toward the wall. If doing chunks, it should be fine as is.

i'd be using it for bass trapping, and "other" wall linings.
if it's foil on both sides is that still ok?
