I use the Neutrik NC3MX & MC3FX XLR connectors. They're solder-type like most other connector type you might need... Maybe you were looking in the wrong area?

RS works fine for me.

Yeah. To make sure, find-out what the O.D. (outer diameter) of the cable is and what the Max. cable O.D. the connector will accomidate. If it's not on their websites, ask the sales person you might buy from. If they can't tell, buy somewhere else.
