MoonMix Studios
In running CWPA9 w/ M-Audio Omni Studio (Delta-66 PCI & Omni I/O), I have noticed that audio tracks assigned to port "WavOut 3/4 Delta-66" have a higher gain than audio tracks assigned to port "WavOut 1/2 Delta-66", when in the "Patchbay Router" of the Delta Control Panel, "H/W Out 1/2" is assigned to "Monitor Mixer". When I change the assignment for "H/W Out 1/2" from "Monitor Mixer" to "WavOut 1/2" in the Patchbay Router, then the gains for audio tracks in Cakewalk are identical when assigned to either ports "WavOut 1/2 Delta-66" or "WavOut 3/4 Delta-66" (Actually, what happens is that the gain for 3/4 drops to the 1/2 level.) The Output Peak Meters in Cakewalk are all set the same (WavOut 1/2, WavOut 3/4 & S/P DIF Out 1/2); & all the settings in the Delta Control Panel are the same (& all the Variable Signal Level Settings are at +4db.) It's almost as though setting the H/W Out 1/2 to Monitor Mixer in the Delta Control Panel boosts the level of H/W Out 3/4. Have any of you Omni Studio users experienced anything such as this? Thanks.
