Hello All,
I have been using Cakewalk products since DOS versions. I now use Sonar XL 2.2.
How are you guys timing up stuff. I mean sometimes I can record some midi tracks and quantize them and they come out just fine. But most of the time if I do not play the midi notes exactly to timing (metronome) I cant never get them to jam up without having to go into the piano roll and moving stuff around.
I wish I could get Sonar to time things up like say a MPC2000 or something. The MPC just jams anything right to time on the fly.
Drums have been my biggest problem with all of the Cakewalk versions. I have read this and read that , but I must be missing something. I seem to be the only person who has ever mention this. How are you guys timing this stuff up?
Thanks
Malcolm
