I use Sonar 8.5 Producer and I have the option of 16 in and 2 out. It's a little misleading because the Sonar 8.5 software says 8 in 1 out, but they are talking about stereo pairs. For example, They break them down in odd pairs, 1,3,5,7,9,AUX, SUB and ST, but each one of these has a L and R, So for M-164UF IN 1, you would pick L for Channel 1 and R for Channel 2. then M-164UF IN 3 (there is no 2), would be L for Channel 3 and R for Channel 4 and so on. I don't use Cubase 4 so I don't know if the DAW is any different, but this has been tested in Sonar 8.5. Hope this helps.
