Question about some jacks on the back of me mixer?

I have some RCA jacks on the back of my mixer that are labeled.


Tape In or 2TR IN L/R

Tape Out or REC OUT L/R

It is a yamaha MG series..

What are these commonly used fer?

For recording your gigs to something like a cassette deck and for playing break music at a gig.

 

[Massive Master]

They're post fader, but pre-"solo" and monitor out.
