question about saving multi-track sessions

do you lock all of your effects on when you save sessions? see, i pretty much have to have my effects locked while working on a session because my computer will lag if i dont, so i lock on the effects to tracks that i'm finished with, well, when i get ready to call it a day i save my session with the effects locked, the thing that sucks is when i come back to my session i have to wait for what seems like forever to let all of the effects lock back on. i guess there isnt much that can be done for this, maybe i just needed to rant about it, i feel better now.

You could go to "settings/multi-track" and check the box to "save locked track files when closing sessions."

This will let your sessions open faster, but will also make your session folders bigger.

if i do that will i still be able to change effects when i re-open teh session or will they be permanently added to the tracks?
