Question about Live Sound Set Up

I'm new here, as my post number indicates...and have a question about live sound, and setting my equipment up properly for live shows... so before I go further, is this the right place to ask?

Well, although this entire website is intended for the home recording hobbyist, there have been many discussions about live sound reinforcement and PA systems. As some of the members here are familiar with both types of systems and enjoy talking about them anywhere.

You could ask your question and wait for the slow trickle of answers. Or you could go to a site better suited for that topic. Here is one...
