Im using cakewalk home studio. I want to install a different cakewalk program on my computer in addition to home studio. Will there be any problems if I have 2 seperate cakewalk programs running on my computer if they are different?

As long as you don't use 'em both at a same time. I installed Cakewalk Pro 3 (MIDI only) along with SONAR 2.1XL. No problem using 'em different time. There will be driver conflicts thingie you don't want to face by opening both at a same time... ;) BTW, why would you install different Cakey ? What's the second Cakey beside HS ?

I'm wondering about that too... What other program would you install next to HS?

If it's Pyro, then you should have no problems at all, since Pyro is used to burn CDs.

thanks, lol both of you asked why :)

I saw a new product in Circuit City called PC Music Pack/The Complete Digital Music Studio by cakewalk and it has wav ripper, dxi synths, audio loop library, mp3, CD burning, so I decided to buy it. I just wanted to know if it would interfere with Home Studio in anyway.

Thanks for the tip about not having both programs open at the same time.
