Hi guys!

I was wondering how the harmonies in this song is sung? It's all very hard for me to hear, I can't figure out how the background singers are singing it. I would like to try it, that's why I'm asking you guys. If I've got the lead vocals, how should I approach the background vocals/harmonies?

I'm particularly wondering about the chorus, it starts at 1:18

The harmonies are a little buried in the mix especially in the start of the chorus. The end of the chorus is a lot easier to hear. The backups are pretty high so if it were me I would sing it in falsetto. The only way you're going to figure it out is to listen to it over and over and try to pick them out. You might try and find a live version as the vocals are usually easier to hear.

The harmonies are split in the stereo mix. The high harmony on the chorus is in the left and the low harmony on the right. It sounds like there is just the main vocals and then the two harmonies for the most part during the chorus. If you listen with headphones to one ear at a time and or mute one speaker at a time, you will be able to hear the vocals and then just one of the harmonies at a time. It will make breaking the harmonies apart a lot easier as you won't have to listen through them all playing at the same time. However, I agree with ido1957, the high harmony does sound mostly sung in falsetto. Are just just curious how to sing it? Or are you wanting to know what notes, chords, etc are in the melodies?

Yes I'd really like to know what notes the harmonies are sung in :/ How do you mute on speaker at a time?
