question about automation

Once I highlight multiple automation points for a track, is there a way to use my controller's fader to move all of those points at a time? I can click and drag them with a mouse, but I'm wondering about doing it with my fader?

You cannot. There is a workaround though:

Go to Project Add Track, Add Group Track.

Set the outputs of all the tracks you want to automate to the group track. Set the Group Tracks output to the master output.

Now you can automate the group track!!!

What's the difference between group track and folder track?

I have found that Cubase LE is not very good at handling group tracks. They could be really funky sometimes, i.e.,the output of the groups all messed up for no reason. I tried the function once and never want to touch it again...Maybe it's simply because it's a freeware? ...sigh...
