Quadraverb ...is it still useful for recording?

I have a 1990 (original) Quadraverb and I am deciding whether or not to pitch it in favor of a newer multi-effects such as the Lexicon MX500 or something like that.

Has anyone here had the opportunity to compare a Quadraverb with any newer processors? Is the Q-verb so out dated that it is not worth using in a home studio?

Believe me on this, you're MUCH better off with a Lex 500!!
I haven't had the opportunity to hear a Quadra-Verb, but listening to a Mini-Verb 4 with it's 18 bit ADA and parameters
that doesn't seem all that tweakable, it would be wise to upgrade your DSP!
