I have three quadraverbs with bad displays. One is very dark and non-legible. One is bright and legible only at a certain angle, and one is bright with lines across the display. Two of these displays have replaced once already. What gives? Does anyone else have these problems? The devices work okay other than this. I know these have some age on them but this is ridiculous.

As I recall, somewhere you can set the "Contrast" for the display. That should fix the first two problems you list. The third is possibly a bad LCD display. Alesis units have had this problem.

Good luck.

I have the QS7, and I am experiencing non-legible problem also, but it works fine.

I want take to get fix but it's on of my main tool. I was wondering if it will be expensive to fix it.

Just looked through the manual and I don't see a way to adjust the contrast on the display. Any ideas?

I'm new so if you already rec'd your contrast answer, pls disregard. On page 20 of the QV2 manual it tells you how to adjuct contrast.
1. Press Global (Global Mode Page 1)
2. Adj Contrast Display by turning VALUE/ENTER knob.

You may have other problems but this might help.

I have an origianl QV with the same problems. I think the light burnt out in my LCD screen. The text is still there, but I can't see it without a flashlight...
