Quad cable for barrier strip...

I just purchased 2 Urei La-4's and am new to barrier strip and was wondering if anyone has used a quad cable such as the Mogami gold series for wiring it. If possible what I want to do it buy 2 Mogami cables and then just cut them in half and wire them to the barrier strip. Is this possible? I appreciate all input. Thanks.

Why do you want to use quad cable for wiring your LA4's? It will be more of a hassle to wire and I'm not sure you'll get any advantage out of it.

As mentioned, the benefits of using quad are questionable. However, you should have no problem actually using it. Just strip the two sets of paired conductors, twist the 2 blues together and screw to the proper terminal and repeat with the 2 white conductors. Colors may vary.
