I wrote this song (it sucks). It only has three parts, but I can't tell if the parts really fit. I don't know if they don't really fit, fit but I'm just negative, fit but I don't know because I never really heard just the parts of songs without lyrics, or what. They are all in the same key and all and they tempo never changes or anything. I listened to other songs to see what they did. I heard some songs that have like three parts, but they sound really similar. I heard songs that have little drum or guitar fills before each part. I heard some songs that just jump right in to the next part. Is there any secret to putting parts together, or am I just negative and think it sucks because I wrote it?

If your speaking of the arragment of the song, then you must spell it out. I'd suggest a timid post on the mp3 clinic of this site. If you are refering to lyrics, what you want to do is type them in so we can better understand your dilema. If you're just ranting in general about the flux and touchy flow of writting, prosesing, postureing and pineing then, welcome to the club.

I had a song in mind and it was generally every song, but I realized I needed to post something. I'm having a hard time doing it right now, though. I'm still trying to learn the ins and outs of Cakewalk.
