Hey all I'm a new PT user and have a 003+ with a Digimax LT pre and running PT8 on Windows XP SP3 and I can't get rid of some annoying glitches...I'm not sure if it's something with the configuration or just a flaw in the programming.
The main issues I'm having are:
1. In the middle of tracking, I'll press stop and play back what was just recording.....by the way I use a Presonus Faderport for transport. So when I play back the session it plays slower than normal speed and I have to save the session and restart pro tools. It doesn't do every time, I would estimate once every couple of hours of operation.
2. The MIDI controller I use sometimes doesn't get recognized by PT. I use just a small 25 key M-Audio controller, I have it plugged in as a USB device I did have it as running through the 003+ midi port, but after a while it wouldn't recognize it in the port.
3. I use BOOM to program some drums loops and the have Xpand2 to program a violin part. Well when I played back some of the violin the BOOM played with the violin and there wasn't a midi note for the BOOM
