PT...Kazaa

I just finishd getting my PT5.3 installed on my new win xp computer. I have sound for my pro tools sessions...but when I try to play something in kazaa I dont get any sound. Ive checked the audio settings for XP but when I go to change the audio device to digi-001 there is only my default sound card available. any suggestions ??
 
I think you have to install Digi's wave driver, which is a seperate download.
 
Yeah... you have to use the WaveDriver that comes with PT... the problem is... it sucks.. :p And it only works when PT can be loaded. (doesn't work under a secured user sign-on)

I used it for a day or two and then got reeeeal tired of it, so I worked oat an alternate solution.

I installed the PT PCI card (obviously) and my on-board sound card.. then I ran lines out of both the digi001 unit and the soundcard and ran them both into my mixer, then I ran the main outs on the mixer into my monitors. So now I have totally independant control over my PT and my PC sounds.

I just want to make it so I can run PT and Kazaa. not nessisarily at the same time. Since I downloaded the 5.3.1 version of the software will I need new waves drivers or can I still use the one off my 5.1.1 cd? I tried down loading the waves driver off the digi site. But when I unzipped it all I got was a digigain thing. still no option in my sounds menu to change it to the digi-001....
