i'm confused at what you are asking
you want to consolidate some regions? ie. make many regions into one single region?? Alt+Shift+3 or Edit-->Consolidate regions

or are you mean you're trying to Bounce to Disk and it's leaving off one of your tracks?

Im using "consolidate selection" after selecting the whole song and all events

Most songs have worked fine, but in this particular one, some of the tracks wont consolidate.

When I look in the folder for the created waves, many tracks are missing

are you using the quick key command or doing Edit-->Consolidate selection?

reason I ask is sometimes PT doesn't respond to that quick key for me either. It's just that one command and it happens at odd times. But going up to the edit menu and doing it manually works.

and you are missing wave files in your audio files folder?? that's really odd. is pro tools showing blank regions referencing missing audio files in your session? reminder, only the BOLD region names in the regions list are actual audio files...the rest are just references of that audio file.

Im using the edit menu

Nothing is missing in the session file.

After I consolidate, it just hasnt consolidated all tracks, only some of them.

I have selected all regions as far as I can tell

When it is doing the consolidation it says " Processing: Duplicate" And skipping most of the tracks

hmmm, that's strange.
although, i guess I never really consolidate all the tracks at once when I'm doing it. Can you consolidate one track at a time? Double check that EVERYTHING is selected in the track (sometimes a fade out/in gets overlooked). You can zoom in on the track and press the left and right arrows when it's selected to see the beginning and end of the selections.

the tracks that are being skipped every time seem aloof from everything

If I mute or unmute all, they stay unmuted no matter what.

Can you open the file?

It is tracks: Tile, kick, snare, tomL, tomHi (strangely the tom rep tracks are working fine), OH L , OHR, MSL, MSR and Hat that seems to be getting skipped

Maybe theres some sort of region to front or other such goofiness going on here?

nah, i'm not around my setup...it's at work.
also make sure your regions are not locked. you should see a little padlock icon in the lower left of each region. It's probably not that, but you never know.
and muting...as in muting regions or muting the actual tracks themselves?

I cant even figure out how to select only certain files

no locks. I was talking about muting the regions, these ones that are getting skipped, will not mute

strange

hmm, odd
without taking a look at the session, I'm at a loss.
If no one has helped you by tomorrow, I'll download it and open it up.

In the mean time, you might want to try trashing the prefs
ya never know

OK, looks like I can select an area along the tracks that WILL consolidate, a single track anyhow, and I can choose edit consolidate

However if i go to one of the tracks that keeps getting skipped, consolidate is grayed out!

sorry, I tried opening the file but I'm using an old Mix system and it doesn't support 96kHz.
maybe someone else with a 002 can help :o
