Hello, kind souls.
I just bought a brand new Pro Tools 9/Mbox Pro bundle to use with my also very new Macbook. I think I did everything the setup manual asked me to do, but something's wrong.
I'd plugged my headphones into the headphone-out of my interface but I couldn't hear what I was playing and so I messed with the volume & i/o settings on the Mbox Pro driver control & the Pro Tools i/o setup and fixed it, but now I can't hear any PT audio playback neither from the interface nor from my laptop's audio out. I could definitely hear playback audio before from my laptop's audio out.
Also, my laptop's volume control seems to have been frozen/locked. I can't increase or decrease my laptop's volume. When I do so, it shows me a stop sign kind of thing (like the Ghostbusters' logo) next to the volume bar. And it shows the volume to be full when I'm pretty sure it's near half of it's max.
So can someone walk me through setting my workstation up? I'm new to Mac, Mbox and PT so please be gentle.
