Hey, I posted one of our mp3s up on here a while back called "Those Stupid Ifs", and just wanted to say that we have another one that you might find entertaining if you liked that song. I don't think that it was mixed quite as well overall (although that's from a perfectionist point of view), but I think it's a good song and everyone else has gotten a kick out of it thus far.

So I give you.... "In a Band To Get Chicks". Enjoy!

For some reason my first post didn't even register as a response... that's strange. :confused:
Oh well, I thought the song was kick-ass! I especially loved the break where the conversation kicks in. Great stuff. ;)
I thought the mix was pretty good, too. Although, I must say that I didn't pay that much attention to the mix since I was rockin' with the song itself and trying to listen to the lyrics.
It's too bad you didn't get many responses on this, but "In A Band To Get Chicks" cracked me up and it has a great groove.
Great job! I hope you're not discouraged by the lack of responses. I'm definitely interested in hearing more of your tunes!

Great tune! Rock on, Beavis! By the way....do you listen to a lot of Bloodhound Gang? Had that kind of feel to it....lyrically.
 
Hey thanks!!! Actually, I've only heard a few Bloodhound Gang songs, they're cool. We're not really influenced by them that much, though. We're just a bunch of weird guys that have listened to too much metal. Bloodhound Gang is a good band to compare us to, though.... they're we're way heavier.
 
Yeah, I think "Ifs" was a better mix but this is definitely a fun tune. Is there a pattern developing with the themes here? :) Catchy stuff with a sense of humor.
