I knew this thing was good, but I did not know that others would like it so much.

The reviewer said that when a mastering engineer and him compared a track done with the vintagewarmer to a 2 inch 16 track mix, eqd with Universal audio 2610 and an Avalon 747 compressor, THEY PREFFERED THE VINTAGEWARMER.

how freaking amazing is that?

I'm buying this beast.

Cyan, I downloaded the vintagewarmer demo and was absolutely amazed what it did to my voice. I don't know how to describe it but I liked it alot. Vintagely warm I guess. :) Of course, I wasn't sure if it was due my newness to recording and I would hate it later. It was way to expensive for my humble recording means, but I might think about it again in the future if I expand.

I'd like to see if you still like it and use it after a couple months. I say go for it though.

The vw is warm but one of the great things about it are the highs. Some of the best Ive heard in any software package. Also the PSP mixpack is well worth checking out. Every plug in it is quality. As are the stereo plugs. The waves influence is obvious in all their plugs...but waves and steinberg finally have some serious competition in the nonPT market.
