Dogman said:I like it...it's turning out pretty cool....more of a smokin country rocker than I had thought. I really like it. Some very tasty leads in it, and it has a lot of depth. Cincy's vox are just great.....They give it a nice touch. I think it would be cool if you could put something together having Cincy and True trade off spots, and do the backing for each other...kind of a bastardized duet. Almost like they are speaking about each other.....
But, I really like this. The punchy bass is way cool. It adds a good thump to the rhythm. And all teh little intricasies(sp) are cool....you hear them ever so subtley. Cool tune.![]()

I`ve been lurking for some time in the colab thread, I wanted to wait untill it was finsished before posting.
First of all, I think you guys took to the skies.
When I first heard the melody track, I never pictured this result.
Smashing contributions from all parts.
David K, I have to say you do a mean job behind the faders, your proclamation of being a king, will not be disputed on my behalf.
Ms; Great job on the bass.
Dogman; Nice shaft\country style---you tha man![]()
Gort; Great shreddin man, I think all the versions of your axe work has been cool, the last one was no1 though, great work.
Cincy; Extremely cool vox man, you`ve got a very nice nerve in your voice, kinda soul "comitments" style.
True; I`m glad you decided to do this, your voice is bedazzling, and its pure rock`n roll.
Man the Shed must be good vocal booth![]()
The guy on banjo; sorry mack forgot your name, kudos to you for bringing in some folk into this jam, very cool indeed.
gave it a very true feel.
The girl who made the song; nice tune, I bet you must be thrilled with the results.
A Big thumbs up for all of you![]()
May there be many more![]()

I really liek your version as well, you have soulful emotional singing there and I think it works very well in this tune!![]()
Its not even mixed yet....I was going to mention to David, that in a couple of parts...mainly :42, :58 and 2:26 in my version...that the backups are a bit too upfront, and on one of them, almost yelling out
DavidK said:Its not even mixed yet.
Right now I am sharing mixes. For the finals, they will be different mixes. Gorty, If you want your solo untouched that can be in One of the versions, the other version will have an edited version. Dont worry about all that, It doesnt matter, its a team production and we "keep the talent happy", we will do whatever you want.![]()
For the True version I will turn the band down a bit. I want her up high in the mixing but it will clip. I do that at the end.
Uhhhh...hi David!!!DavidK said:Its not even mixed yet.

Bigbubba....thank you ever so much. I am sure I speak for everyone else involved, that your opinion is highly valued. This is a lot of fun to do and I agree about the different takes on the vocals. I think it is the same with everyone. We all perceive things in our own way!! That is what keeps us from dropping dead of boredom!!bigbubba said:Cincy & True,
Both version are really nicely shaping up. They've come a long way from the days of the MIDI version.
Cincy you're vox are really really good man.
True, your'e vox are also very good.
Interesting how the two singers had a different take on the chorus. Cincy with the backup vox and counry twang, True with the draggin' notes with more country blues tone.
You guys are pretty good in this.
The licks are really cool. Can't say I dig the licks behind the vox in the verse, tho!
The rhythm note picks around the verses is cool, whoever did that.![]()
