Protools Question

I own a Boss BR1180. I want to buy a Digidesign Mbox 2 and use my Computer for recording. With this unit do I need a Soundcard? Seems like I remember reading that I do not. How much space will Protools and the ignition package take up on my computer. Will I need to buy another computer?

The Mbox 2 *is* a soundcard. So no additional soundcard will be needed.

As far as the computer, what you should do is go to Digidesign's web site and look for the compatibility page for the Mbox2 and ProTools LE. This will tell you what models of computer are supported for the Mbox2. I think with PC's they also recommend specific processors. If your computer is not on the list, it might still work fine, but Digi is just saying they haven't tested it themselves so they can't guarantee compatibility.
