ProTools LE w/ MAudio Axiom-49

I have an Axiom 49 that I bought that I'm planning on using with ProTools LE 6.7(I think it's 6.7, I'll check when I get home.) My ProTools recognizes it and everything, but I can't get it to do anything beyond that. Any help would be appreciated.

First off: What are you planning to do with a MIDI CONTROLLER? If drums some guy will recommend you Reason... if strings maybe SampleTank. Axiom is not a keyboard so you won't get a sound from the gear itself. It has to be used along any software.
