how much are you paying for it?

in the digital suite of my studio, i USED to use Promixes, 3 of them infact. they are great if you want the automation. i used different preamps with it though so i couldn't tell you how the sound was. i used promixes a long time ago aswell. after the promixes, i swapped to 2 O1V's, then to 2 O2R's and now 2 Mackie D8B's. there are better mixers around, and the Promix is quite old. it depends on the price you're paying. dont think the effects on it are great... they're passable for use during tracking, but not on the mix.
